In order to be eligible for tax-free status and thereby for a Peugeot Open Europe contract, for a maximum of 6 months with temporary (T) plates, you must comply with the following conditions:

1. If a tourist, regardless of your nationality,
   - have your normal residence outside the European Union,
   - will visit the European Union for less than 185 days in a 12 month period,
   - will not undertake any form of employment during your stay (Note: a work visa in your passport is prima facie evidence that you intend to work).
2. European citizens residing outside the European Union (copy of residency stamp/certificate required with Booking Form) who fit the conditions above and who can obtain proof (i.e. letter from employer required with Booking Form) of their intention to return to their employment (outside the European Union) at the end of their stay.
3. People on temporary assignment in the European Union, such as professors, trainees, journalists, official representatives and full-time students - under certain conditions and up to 1 year. Contact us for further details.
